I have most recently worked at Jar Creative, a creative agency located in downtown Toronto. There, I had the opportunity not only to flex some design muscles, but also to learn a great deal about web design and web programming. While at Jar, I had the pleasure of working with clients such as Getoutside Shoes, a successful local shoe retailer, The Spa InterContinental at the InterContinental Toronto Centre Hotel, and Eoin Finn Yoga, a leader in yoga instruction based in Vancouver, B.C.

Prior to Jar, I also worked at the Alma Mater Society of Queen's University as Design & Marketing Manager, Promotions Manager, and Communications Director.

Some of my current clients include: Couchware Inc., Sim & McBurney/Sim, Lowman, Ashton & McKay, and Mass Fidelity.

Liminal Feast

"Liminal Feast" was the 100-page, hand-bound culmination of two years of graduate school research. Part of the requirements for my Master's degree in Graphic Design, "Liminal Feast" is an exploration of visual and spatial vernaculars and how they empower the people that create them.

Dat Door's Got A Key Dat Leads 2 Nowhere Sumwhere In Da Cactus Land

Whereas "Liminal Feast" dealt with issues of spatial liminality within communities, this book discussed themes of commercial liminality, decay and identity. Incorporating themes found in T.S. Eliot's "The Hollow Men," and the distinctive vocabulary of MySpace users, "Dat Door's..." is an expression of the alienation that grows out of modern-day hyper-commercialism.

Instructions For A Space

This book was a tongue-in-cheek examination of instructions and spaces. The concept was to create a series of instructions for the construction of a space, directly contradicting the idea that a space is personally written and created—that "instructions" for a space would be different for every person.
